Timothy G. Manuel, Jr.

Timothy Gerard Manuel, Jr., 34, passed away on May 22, 2020 in Lakewood, NJ. He was born on September 22, 1985 in West Long Branch, NJ, and graduated from Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River, NJ in 2003.

TJ, as he was known to family and friends, was an accounting major at St. Peters College, Jersey City, NJ. He worked several years at Sovereign Bank and First Atlantic Credit Union, eventually becoming the Operations Manager for Eviction Supports Services in Howell Township, NJ. 

TJ loved his family and made time to visit with cousins, aunts, and uncles frequently. He will be especially remembered for his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He loved sports cars and enjoyed repairing and making additions to his vehicles. TJ had a fondness for classical music as well as jazz and contemporary music. His eclectic taste in food led to impromptu meetings and celebrations of everyday life.

Tim was predeceased by his grandmothers, Lois Manuel and Johnaphene Watkins.  He is survived by his mother, Venus Brooks in Lakewood NJ; father, Timothy Manuel Sr. in Bronx, NY; stepmother, Michelle Knight-Manuel in Bronx, NY; sister, Janaya, and sister, Melanie in Salem, NJ; niece and nephew, Harper and Harrison in Columbus, OH; friends, Stephanie Chieco, Carla Oliviera, and Latrice Scott; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
