Robert Harold Hauges, Jr.

Robert H. Hauges, Jr., 70, of Bayville, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Community Medical Center Hospital, Toms River, New Jersey. He was born on July 10, 1950, in Hollis, Queens, New York to Robert Harold Hauges, Sr. and Mary Hudson Hauges.

Robert received certification in Computer Sciences from New York University. He had a successful career working in the Information Technology industry for several top Fortune 500 companies such as Bankers Trust, Dreyfus, Merck, and Merrill Lynch. He retired as an Operations Technology Manager from CIT Corp. in 2012.

Robert married Sandra Hayes of Brooklyn, New York in 1988. They moved to New Jersey in 1990 and settled down in Bayville, New Jersey in 2000. He became a member of Second Baptist Church of Toms River, New Jersey.  He enjoyed sports, vacationing (especially cruises), family gatherings and listening to jazz music.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mary; two sisters, Barbara Ann and Arlene; one brother, Raymond; and one stepdaughter, Sandy.  Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra of Bayville, New Jersey; son, Jarrett of Bronx, New York; granddaughter, Jayla of Bronx, New York; stepdaughter, Alicia of Brooklyn, New York; sisters, Saundra (nursing home) and Louise of North Carolina; brother, Mark of New York; and a host of sister-in laws and brother-in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
